Foodies Festival, Syon Park: 20th – 22nd August 2021
The UK’s biggest food and drink festival, Foodies Festival will return this August in full force to Syon Park. The biggest celebration yet of top chefs, this festival offers a weekend full of delectable celebrations that hit both the sweet and savoury spots. Packed full of restaurant tents, street food stalls, live music stages and dessert theatres, there really is something for everyone.
In attendance will be MasterChef champions, Michelin starred and top local chefs who will be cooking their signature summer recipes in The Chefs Theatre whilst giving top tips to all the foodie fanatics. A feast for the ears too, headliners that will take to the stage this year include Sophie Ellis-Bexter, Scouting For Girls and Toploader alongside performances from 50 local London emerging bands and soloists.
London Jerk Festival: 7th & 8th August 2021
Get ready to wave your Jamaican Flag by joining the London Jerk Festival in the heart of Hackney. Celebrating 57 years of Jamaican independence, the London Jerk Fest has a free entry policy meaning everyone is invited to taste a delicious selection of Caribbean street food and drink stalls.
Sip on cups of fruity rum punch whilst listening to jamming tunes from traditional music and dance anthems, all wrapped up with the vibrancy of Jamaican culture and community. Delivering places to eat in London authentic live music & entertainment timed with a selection of some of London’s tastiest Jerk, dishes on offer include everything from jerk BBQ chicken wings, to jerk pork and jerk dogs (Jamaican style hotdogs) alongside plantain fries and spicy Jamaican cheese.
Taste of London: 7-11th & 14-18th July 2021
This summer, Taste of London is back. Making up for lost time with a festival that’s not one, but two long weekends from Wednesday 7th – Sunday 11th July and Wednesday 14th – Sunday 18th July. Described as ‘the most delicious reunion of the summer’, Taste of London celebrates all food and drink in London’s Regents Park.
The city’s one of the longest-running foodie festivals, this brilliantly British festival offers five days of non-stop al fresco feasting. Showcasing a variety of London’s best signature dishes from over 30 restaurants in London that are both familiar favourites and newbies to the scene, whatever your preference – there is literally something for everyone.
This is all tied up with refreshing drink stalls and live entertainment with a market that exhibits fresh ingredients that go into creating the perfect dish. You can also immerse yourself in workshops led by world-class chefs and leading food and drink brands with tasting sessions to get stuck into.
The National Geographic Traveller Food Festival: 17th & 18th July 2021
A chance to explore the world through the prism of culinary experiences is The National Geographic Traveller Food Festival at the Business Design Centre. From the publisher of the UK’s National Geographic Traveller Food magazine, this foodie event showcases top food personalities, whilst bringing a buffet of global delicacies to the capital.
A celebration of the global nature of food, see chefs in action preparing signature dishes, enjoy demonstrations with interviews on the main stage, along with hands-on chances to learn new cooking techniques and take part in workshops. Explore an expansive exhibition space containing everything related to food and drink under the sun which will enable you to discover new cuisines and break down food barriers on a truly diverse culinary journey.
London Craft Beer Festival: 13th – 15th August 2021
This summer, Tobacco Dock will set the stage for the capital’s most exciting celebration of craft beer. It’s one of the best Foodie Festivals in London. Headlined by top breweries from around the UK including Northern Monk, Verdant and North Brewing Co, foodies in attendance will also be pleased to know that the likes of Hoppers, Berber and Q and Club Mexicana will also be cooking up a storm.
