ZENB is an online plant-based food brand on a mission to make delicious plant-forward products accessible and convenient. At ZENB, we’re working to raise awareness of a whole-plant approach to inspire change within the food system and reduce food waste.
At ZENB (pronounced ZEN-bee) we’re passionately committed to providing a new way of thinking about what plants can do – in our meals, for our bodies, and in the world around us.
Our name comes from the word zenbu (全部) – the Japanese expression for whole. We’ve used this idea to fuel our approach to developing products that embrace the whole plant, whole food experiences, across the whole day.
Our proprietary food development process harnesses the goodness of nature leading to plant-based products, using as much of the whole plant as possible… skin, seeds, stem, and all. We’re working to raise awareness of a whole-plant approach, to inspire change within the food system and reduce food waste as we harness everything that nature provides.
Meet our hero products:
Delicious and award-winning pasta you can feel good about, made from 100% yellow peas. High in protein, fibre and gluten free.
Discover Penne, Macaroni, Fusilli and one latest addition, Pasta Agile – quick cook pasta, ready in only 2 minutes.
Our ZENB Gourmet sauces are made using a ‘slow cooking’ culinary technique that coaxes out the natural sweetness of the vegetables, adds depth, intensity and flavour complexity, as well as tenderising the texture.
Our whole vegetable promise ensures with every serving you are getting 1 of your 5 a day and a source of fibre.
ZENB pasta is made using only 1 ingredient: yellow peas. Our peas are carefully selected, then milled, cooked, dried, and made into three shape variations: Penne, Fusilli, Macaroni and soon more shapes!
ZENB Yellow Pea Pasta contains 44 g Carbohydrates per 85g uncooked serving. UK Government guidelines recommend that 1/3 daily dietary energy come from carbohydrates. Whilst 44g per serving is not considered low carb, yellow peas contain complex carbohydrates as opposed to the traditional sugars found in other pasta.
