Menu at The Residency Restaurant
The Residency’s menu is a collection of fresh and traditional ingredients. The restaurant features dishes from all over Britain, offering vegan and vegetarian options that focus on authenticity.
This includes an emphasis on seasonal foods that are locally sourced when possible.
Carniel Francis, Head Chef at The Residency, has curated an entire menu inspired by European and Caribbean cuisine.
The appetisers were shared between the two and created a fresh explosion of flavour to initiate our food courses.
We sampled delicious tomato and truffle arancini with a cheesy cream, mushroom on toasted brioche, and grilled artichoke.
The mushroom on toasted brioche gave us a nice smoky flavour that complemented the taste perfectly. This was the danger dish, meaning we just wanted more!
Cabbage Cake is savoury dough packed with spicy pork and deep-fried to a golden brown. This meal is popular among locals because of its unusual flavour.
Main course and Drinks
For mains, The Residency offers traditional dishes from all over Europe, most of which are adapted to fit Caribbean tastes. Our favourite dish was their restaurant salad with Pomelo dressing, which was divine.
Ribeye steak meals include lemon pepper steak and garlic beef.
During our visit, we ordered some side dishes to pair with our mains.
We couldn’t resist the sound of the Cream spinach and Broccoli and thankfully it met our expectations.
The Residency’s cocktail menu was also a highlight of our experience. Not just because we probably had one too many, it was Thursday evening after all.
After a hard day, we sampled their Hermanos Espresso Martini, Verbena Infusion, Mezcal-Fig Sour, and more.
Conclusion
Indeed, the Residency is a terrific venue to taste good English food near Notting Hill tube station. The personnel is kind, the environment is great, and the pricing is typical for the area.
The Residency is an exciting new West London restaurant for dates and hangouts.
