Michelin Star line-up for Royal Ascot 2022
London’s top chefs are heading to Royal Ascot this year to put on a show like never been seen before. With an array of cuisines and restaurants, dining at Royal Ascot is a sure bet this Summer.
- Nieves Barragán Mohacho of Sabor makes her debut at the brand-new Pavonian Restaurant and Pavonian Club in the Queen Anne Enclosure.
- From Notting Hill’s iconic The Ledbury, Chef Patron Brett Graham takes the helm of Holyrood House in the Royal Enclosure.
- Raymond Blanc OBE returns to the Panoramic to play his pivotal role as Chef Ambassador to the racecourse.
- HIDE’s Ollie Dabbous returns to Royal Ascot to launch The Sandringham in the Royal Enclosure.
- Newly awarded three Michelin stars, Simon Rogan returns to ON5 in the Queen Anne Enclosure.
- Tom Barnes, Executive Head Chef at 3 Michelin-starred L’Enclume and Rogan & Co in Cumbria, joins the line-up of celebrity chefs for his first appearance at Royal Ascot

Featuring more Michelin stars and recognised chef personalities than any other British sporting event. This year’s ‘Chefs in Residence’ have accumulated more Michelin stars in their careers than ever seen before at Royal Ascot.
Holyroodhouse, new in 2022 and inspired by the Monarch’s official residence in Scotland, is a light and airy space in the Royal Enclosure Gardens with Scottish elements woven into the design.
This contemporary restaurant overlooking the Pre-Parade Ring and gardens serves a four-course à la carte lunch with fine wine pairings.
Chef Patron of reopened The Ledbury Brett Graham’s new Royal Enclosure restaurant serves elegant dishes with modern British flair.
1. Nieves Barragán Mohacho
Nieves Barragán Mohacho, one of London’s top chefs makes her Royal Ascot debut in the new Pavonian Restaurant and Pavonian Club in the Queen Anne Enclosure. Set in a new elevated space with a large trackside viewing deck, guests will have uninterrupted views of the racing action.
Named after the characteristics of a peacock, this new space has been designed with refined modern interiors with a luxurious feel, creating the perfect ‘instagrammable’ space.
Nieves will be serving a tapas-style tasting menu that draws inspiration from her Michelin-starred restaurant, Sabor. In addition, Patrons of the Pavonian Restaurant will also have access to the Pavonian Club to experience DJs and an afterparty to end the day.
2. Raymond Blanc OBE
Two Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc OBE returns to the Royal Enclosure’s Panoramic Restaurant.
Returning for the seventh year, he promises a personalised meal as well as enhanced service that will be one of the best at the racecourse.
Raymond Blanc will draw inspiration from Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons’ 38-year Michelin streak.
3. Ollie Dabbous
Ollie Dabbous, chef at Michelin-starred London restaurant HIDE, will host The Sandringham in 2022.
This was reminiscent of an English orchard with a summer bar. The big terrace with rattan lounge furniture is pleasant. Ollie burst onto the London cuisine scene in 2012 with his basic, inventive dishes.
Ollie offers curated chef’s stations serving appetisers, main meals, desserts, and cheese, as well as a distinctive menu.
4. Simon Rogan
Three-Michelin-starred chef Simon Rogan returns to Royal Ascot in 2022 to run ON5 in the Queen Anne Enclosure. L’Enclume, which turned 20 this year, got its first star in 2005 and a second in 2013.
Simon’s first restaurant outside of the southeast to get three Michelin stars, he now has five in the 2022 guide.
5. Tom Barnes
Tom Barnes, Executive Head Chef at L’Enclume and Rogan & Co, also joins the line-up of London’s top chefs at this event for his first solo appearance at Royal Ascot. Moreover, he will showcase his talents in a brand-new restaurant for 2022 – The Old Press Room.
The Old Press Room will be located on Level 2 of the Grandstand, close to the winning post.

Tom will offer a six-course tasting menu providing guests with table service alongside a more relaxed fine dining experience. Each course will be served with accompanying fine wines selected by the L’Enclume sommelier.
6. Eric Lanlard
Master pâtissier Eric Lanlard will also return for his fourth year, serving a special afternoon tea menu in celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in Fine Dining restaurants, Private Boxes, as well as the 1768 Grill & Tea Rooms in the Queen Anne Enclosure.
Eric, one of London’s top chefs and owner of London’s most popular cafe and cake business, Cake Boy, will be visiting Royal Ascot this year.
7. James Tanner
James Tanner will cook alfresco, casual British food with a celebrity twist in the Queen Anne Kitchen.
The Veranda joins The Royal Enclosure in 2022. Certainly, this exclusive restaurant combines private indoor tables and flexible outdoor seating to overlook Royal Ascot. The 1711 à la carte lunch menu offers grazing-style Fine Dining.
