Bar setting and Interior
In terms of setting, the bar is comfortable and relaxed but stylish enough to provide that special feeling you’re searching for.
The bar interior is cosy with a touch of western decor. The wall murals give the interior some personality touch, while large crittal windows provide a modern touch.
Low lighting and banquette seating further contribute to a glowy, cosy feeling, which is just ideal for small groups. Generally, the bar is cool and colourful, very inviting.
Culinary Experience
Christina’s Bar at the Mondrian Shoreditch offers some mouth-watering choices for their culinary experience.
Small plates are served until 6 pm then bar snacks and charcuterie/cheeseboards until 10 pm.
We started our experience with a crunchy Korean Fried Cauliflower with the right amount of batter. Pitta bread and smoked hummus with harissa followed.
Finally, the waitress recommended the Charcuterie selection, which came with multiple breadsticks, meats, and fresh home-pickled veggies. Perfect for December evenings.
Cocktail Menu
Christina’s bar offers a wide range of cocktails for its guests. Luckily, we were the ones dining in style this evening.
Christina’s featured two new winter cocktails: the velvety Snow White and our favourite, the Winter Forest Sbagliato.
Instead of coconut and pineapple chamomile, we tried the Fig Leaf Colada, made with Parafante Fig Leaf Liqueur.
Christina’s Bloody Mary employs an in-house hot sauce, mushroom garum instead of Worcestershire sauce, and English Silver Circle Black Garlic Vodka.
The Coastal Margarita is another great cocktail on this menu. Inspired by the British seaside, it uses local, sustainable acids like verjus instead of citrus acids.
Other major highlights in the cocktail menu include the Rosehip, Wild Apple Spritz, Alexander Seed Negroni, and Cosmo.
Partners and Suppliers
Christina’s bar in Mondrian Shoreditch sources supplies from British artisans and small-batch producers to maintain their love for wild ingredients and sustainability.
The East London Liqueur Company, Ostara Vermouth, Hepple Gin, and Kanpai Sake are among these suppliers.
British suppliers include Aperitivo Co. Reus Vermouth, Ardberg Wee Beastie, How & Loer Hogweed Seed Botanical spirits, and others.
This cocktail menu comes with sharing plates, snacks, and light bites from noon until late at night.
