Well, you don’t have to stick with my words just yet. Instead, hang around as I walk you through all this restaurant and bar brings to the table.
Let’s begin, shall we?

The Atmosphere
The bright and modern dining area conveys the warmth of Italian hospitality.
Orange walls and seats set a vivid tone for multicoloured artwork, lush greenery, and white and black geometric flooring. It’s a space intended to lift emotions created by Elizabeth Marsh Floral Design.
As a matter of fact, it has a signature inner-courtyard space ideal for partnership events called ‘The Orangery.
The restaurant concept is humorous and local, focusing on artists, musicians, and outstanding East London food suppliers.
The restaurant’s emphasis on freshness and vibrancy extends to the cuisine selection.
Head chef Vittorio Meli has created an intriguing and varied menu that celebrates the greatest Italian and British ingredients and the richness and intricacies of regional Sicilian cuisine.
Starters at Zoom East Kitchen and Bar
A look at the menu made me and my colleagues nod with affirmation that the starters at Zoom East Kitchen were going to provide us with a fantastic Friday night dining experience.
We had an Octopus Pappardelle dish and pizza. On the other hand, Rose, a meat lover, went for another starter on the menu, Polpette.
This was typically beef meatballs with ingredients like oregano and parmesan served with a tasty tomato sauce.
Since we were obsessed with getting to know the best starter on the menu, Josh decided to go with another option on the menu, Rancini. It was Carnaroli saffron rice, served with peas and blue cheese.
They also had a handful of pizza and pasta dishes for pasta fans, from slow-cooked braised wild boar to pizza capricciosa, prepared with ham, quail egg, tomato sauce, and parmesan.
Zoom East Kitchen and Bar Mains
After a lovely starter which the two of us quite enjoyed, we rolled up our sleeves to see if the mains on the menu could continue the clean sheet.
I’ve always enjoyed vegetables, so I was excited to see they had “mixed Mediterranean vegetables” on the menu.
It was roasted yellow and green courgettes, garnished with carrots and Za’atar mixed herbs, as the waiter called it. It was absolutely lovely!
Meanwhile, tables near us seemed to be enjoying the restaurant “Guazetto Di Pesce”, A classic stock pot of olives, Cornish hake, potato, pears, and capers.
Dessert
Finally, it was time for dessert. First, I opted for the Cannoli, a delicious ricotta Sicilian pastry.
Then, Josh and Rose decided to have “Panna Cotta”, rich with Cardamon, saffron, pistachio, and rose water.
Another yet amazing dessert on the menu was “Cheese Board”. It’s prepared with smoked cheddar, figs, mostarda with grissine, and cacio.
Private Dining at Zoom East Kitchen and Bar
Zoom East Kitchen & Bar has two intimate private dining rooms that may accommodate up to 20 people for a celebration.
Choose between their private dining room, ‘The Orangery,’ which has its exterior patio, or the semi-private dining room, ‘The Galleria Room,’ which is ideal for small group occasions.
They provide family-style dishes to help make your gathering a success, whether it’s a big occasion or a good old-fashioned catch-up with pals.
Wine and Drinks
The wine as well as the cocktail list features a wide range of international varieties, from New Zealand to Portugal, with a bottle to satisfy every palate.
Excellent wines are offered over glass, bottle, or carafe. You can also try one of its expertly made-cocktails or local artisan beers.
Conclusion
Zoom East Kitchen and bar was a great place to enjoy a lovely dinner in the city! It is perfect for a chilled-out evening with friends and has the most delectable Italian menu.
